2022 Plein Air Competition Results

The 2022 Plein Air Competition “Canvas The Grove” took place on Saturday, September 17th. This event was sponsored by Allen A. Shaffer Insurance, Flip Salon & Spa, Dreese Produce, and Hess Family Eyecare. We thank our sponsors for allowing us to continue support and appreciate the arts. This year we saw a lot of great creations in a variety of mediums from all ages and we are excited to continue this annual event throughout the future. It is always wonderful to see our scenic town come to life in art!

We congratulate our winners: First place, Elizabeth England from Montgomery, PA, Second place, Kelly Charlesworth from Harrisburg, PA, Third place, Debra Moffitt from Williamsport, PA, and our Viewer’s Choice winner, Christine Smith from Danville, PA.

This year we also judged a Youth Category, and congratulate those winners as well: First place, Daniel Ren from Lewisburg, PA, Second place, Anna Drouin from Lewisburg, PA, and a tie for Third Place, Anna & Ally Walter from Selinsgrove, PA.

Artists who have chosen to sell their pieces can be found in The Kind Cafe at 16 North Market Street.

Again we thank our artists for spending the day capturing Selinsgrove in Plein Air style, and we thank our sponsors for helping us carry out such a fun event.
